A 15 day safari in India, covering four of India’s finest wildlife parks, giving the traveler plenty of opportunities to spot Royal Bengal Tigers in the wild and get up close with other species of wildlife in India. While this trip focuses on the wildlife in India, it also covers, what is known as India’s Golden Triangle of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.

Day 01: - Arrive Delhi, India
Arrive at Delhi International Airport.
Delhi – India’s Capital Delhi, is a bustling metropolis, with almost 20 million inhabitants. Delhi is a city of contrasts, often called a perfect blend of the ancient and the modern, Delhi has monuments that are over 500 years old, and also has modern shopping malls, nightclubs and golf courses, Delhi truly is India’s crown jewel, and a perfect gateway for your India tour.
On your arrival at Delhi International airport, you will be met by our representative, who will arrange for your transfer to your chosen hotel, and also hand you over your detailed itinerary and answer any questions that you may have. No activity is scheduled today, since most International flights arrive into Delhi, late evening, or close to midnight only. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 02: In Delhi
Breakfast at the hotel followed by a guided sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. Tour include visits to the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Raj Ghat, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, the President’s House, Birla Mandir and Qutub Minar.
Evening at leisure, you could choose to relax and enjoy the hotels restaurants and facilities, or the more adventurous, could perhaps venture out for some independent sightseeing and shopping. The city of Delhi also has several fine restaurants offering India as well as a variety of International Cuisines. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Delhi – Nagpur - Pench
This morning you will be met by our representative and escorted from your hotel to the Delhi airport in time for your flight to Nagpur.
Upon arrival in Nagpur you will be met and driven to Pench National Park (90 kms/2 hours), the first of the four National Park that you visit on your India Tiger safari tour.
Pench National Park: Pench Tiger Reserve is one of the more recent parks to open to tourism and came under the umbrella of Project Tiger in 1992. The Pench National Park has two rivers flowing through it, thus making it green and fertile for most part of the year. The Park hosts a variety of flora and fauna, with teak forests and open grasslands in a hilly undulating terrain at the foot of the Satpura ranges that run through Central India. The Pench National Park is known for its sightings of several large and small mammals, including sloth bear, leopard, tiger, deer and is also known to be the habitat for almost 300 species of birds.

Day 04: Pench
Today is your first Tiger Safari in India. One of the things to keep in mind, while on a India Tiger Safari, is the fact that Safaris in India are very different from Safaris in Africa. While the Indian Tiger Reserves, have an abundance of wildlife, Tiger sightings in India are not quite as common as sightings of the big cats in Africa.
Morning & evening jeep rides into the Pench National Park. A local guide/naturalist will be accompanying you to enhance the experience.

Day 05: Pench – Kanha
Morning Safari into Pench National Park, followed by a drive to Kanha (200 kms/05 hrs.).
Kanha National Park: Kanha will be the next stop of your wildlife tour in India. The area surrounding the Kanha National Park is also called Kipling country, primarily because Rudyard Kipling’s Jungle book was completely set in this area, and it’s characters, Mowgli, the pint-sized 'Man-Child' or Bagheera, the Black Panther and Sher Khan are all fondly remembered.
Kanha National Park is one of the largest National Parks in Asia, and one of the nine original reserves of Project Tiger in 1973. Not only does Kanha boats of a large Tiger population, but it is also regarded as one of the show pieces of wildlife conservation in India, primarily because of its success with the preservation of the Barasingha (Twelve horned deer). Kanha also has a large number of other animals like chital (spotted deer), langur monkeys, wolves and the elusive leopard.

Day 07: Kanha – Bandhavgarh
Morning Safari into Kanha National Park, followed by a drive to Bandhavgarh (250 kms/06 hrs.), the next stop of your India Tiger safari.
Bandhavgarh: Bandavgarh, famous for its white tigers, is a comparatively new National Park, with a lovely fort in the middle of it. The Bandhavgarh National Park, is an extremely popular stop for anyone on a wildlife safari in India, mainly because, it offers the highest Tiger sightings amongst all of the Central Indian National Parks.
The Bandhavgarh National Park, has a hilly terrain, with sal forests, open grasslands, and it boasts the highest density of tigers and the cats amongst all of India’s National Parks. Other species visible include the Rhesus macaques, jungle cats, hyenas to nilgai, blackbuck etc. Bird watchers too have plenty to do, with over 300 species of birds calling Bandhavgarh their home.

Day 08: Bandhavgarh - Agra
Morning & evening jeep rides into the Bandhavgarh National Park. A local guide/naturalist will be accompanying you to enhance the experience.
Late in the evening drive from Bandhavgarh to Umaria (35 kms/01 hr) nearest railway station of Bandhavgarh, and aboard an overnight train to Agra (2050/1045 hrs).

Day 09: Agra
Upon arrival at Agra Railway station, you will be met and escorted to your hotel for check-in etc
Agra - "The city of the Taj", is ofcourse the highlight of any North India tour. Agra was once the capital of the Mughal Empire, and even today it seems to linger in the past. In addition to the Taj Mahal, which is also one of the wonders of the World, the Mughal Emperors endowed the city with plenty of other famous monuments, important among which are the Agra Fort, Sikandra, Itimad-ud-Daulah and Fatehpur Sikri. Agra is most certainly a must do, on any India tour.
Afternoon, guided sightseeing tour of Agra. Tour includes visits to the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort.

Day 10: Agra – Ranthambore
This morning you drive to Ranthambore (280kms/06 hrs) visiting Fatehpur Sikri en-route. Later continue your drive to Ranthambore.
Ranthambore – Located in the desert state of Rajasthan, Ranthambore is the fourth National park that you visit on your Wildlife tour in India. Ranthambore is also one of the most easily accessible National Parks in India. Situated less than 200 kms from Jaipur, between the Aravalli hills and the Vindhya ranges, this area was formerly the hunting ground of the Maharaja of Jaipur. In 1972, Ranthambore was declared a National Park under the newly launched Project Tiger Scheme. Ranthambore is mostly a dry and deciduous type forest, with a few watering holes in between. The conservation efforts have resulted, in their being a healthy population of tigers and other smaller animals within the Reserve.

Day 11: - Ranthambore

Day 12: - Ranthambore – Jaipur
Early morning game safari at Ranthambore National Park. Return to the hotel for a leisurely breakfast and later drive to the Pink city of Rajasthan - Jaipur (195 kms/3½ hrs.).
Jaipur – called the Pink city of India, Jaipur is one of India’s most well planned cities, with wide, straight avenues, roads, streets and lanes in a grid system. The foundation of Jaipur were laid out in the 18th Century by Maharaja Jai Singh II, who besides being a great warrior, was a great astronomer too. Jaipur got its name as the Pink City, since, during the late 19th Century, the then ruler Sawai Ram Singh, got the whole city painted pink to welcome Prince Edward. Very recently, the famous British Comedy film, “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel” was set and filmed in Jaipur.

Day 13: Jaipur
Breakfast at the hotel followed by a guided sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Tour include visits to the Amber Fort including Elephant ride, Hawa Mahal (Palace on Winds), The City Palace and Jantar Mantar (Observatory).
Evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 14: Jaipur – Delhi
Morning drive back to Delhi (265 kms / 05 hrs.).
Upon arrival in Delhi check-in to your hotel. Evening at leisure, you could choose to relax and enjoy the hotels restaurants and facilities, or take in some last minute shopping, visiting one of Delhi’s many colorful bazaars or shopping malls. Overnight at hotel.

Day 15: Depart Delhi
Your Indian Tiger Safari, ends with a transfer to the airport in time for your flight home. For those with a little more time, you can also combine your safari in India, with a relaxing beach break in Goa, or a trip to the Himalayas.
